Jupiter RowlandStarting on January 16th, #<a class="" href="https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/search?tag=DorenasWorld" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">DorenasWorld</a> will celebrate its 13th #<a class="" href="https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/search?tag=GridAnniversary" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">GridAnniversary</a> with six days of events.<br><br>13 years are quite an age for an #<a class="" href="https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/search?tag=OpenSimulator" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">OpenSimulator</a> grid. And indeed, as far as I know, Dorenas World is the fourth-oldest grid on the #<a class="" href="https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/search?tag=Hypergrid" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Hypergrid</a> now; only #<a class="" href="https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/search?tag=OSgrid" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">OSgrid</a> (launched in 2007, shortly after #<a class="" href="https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/search?tag=OpenSim" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">OpenSim</a> itself), #<a class="" href="https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/search?tag=3rdRockGrid" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">3rdRockGrid</a> and #<a class="" href="https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/search?tag=Kitely" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Kitely</a> (both launched in 2008) are older. Dorenas World is also the oldest German grid since #<a class="" href="https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/search?tag=Metropolis" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Metropolis</a> shut down last summer.<br><br>It has become a grid tradition to celebrate the anniversary with almost a week of events, going through at least some of the many event locations Dorenas World has to offer.<br><br>While still a WIP and incomplete, the event schedule currently includes five DJ nights, one of them following an in-world winter sports event, and one concert.<br><br>I'm probably going to enter the events of the days into my public calendar and publish the schedule itself once it's final. If you decide to come attend them, fair warning ahead: The events will be in German, including spoken comments by the DJs. But most of the people there know English.<br><br>#<a class="" href="https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/search?tag=Metaverse" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Metaverse</a> #<a class="" href="https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/search?tag=VirtualWorlds" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">VirtualWorlds</a> #<a class="" href="https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/search?tag=Grid" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Grid</a> #<a class="" href="https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/search?tag=Anniversary" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Anniversary</a> #<a class="" href="https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/search?tag=AnniversaryCelebration" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">AnniversaryCelebration</a>
