Dr. Comander:
-Established the Mass General Cancer Center at Newton Wellesley Multidisciplinary Breast Oncology Clinic which is a premier formal multidisciplinary outpatient breast oncology clinic staffed by medical oncology, radiation oncology, and surgical oncology with participation from radiology and pathology.
-Founded the Risk Management and Prevention Clinic at Newton Wellesley Hospital to counsel women at increased risk for breast cancer about prevention options.
-Recipient of the HemOnc Today Next Gen Innovator Award & BIDMC Service Excellence Award for Exceptional Care.
