The U.S. Congress passed a law about the data breach risk of TikTok.
The U.S. Congress has done nothing about the richest man in the world and his pet potus who launched the data breach of the U.S. Treasury, took control of it out of Congress’ Constitutionally empowered hands and just took the financial information of every single American and company and will keep, sell or use that data later for whatever they wish.
@davidaugust let’s remember that the Trump admin started working on this TikTok issue during his first term, so it took over 4 years for them do it. But, please do call all of your congressional representatives today and get this ball moving faster! Elon has no real authority!
If anyone can think of how to get under Vance’s skin about it, he’s likely calling the shots with Elon.
@tweetsjen unfortunately, it seems changes have already been made to the code the US Treasury uses to run things. There is a real likelihood that damage _already done_ may take years to try to fix.
