An 82 yo man is brought to hospital with headache and confusion
He is drowsy and appears in some distress. There are no focal neurological signs
He has a history of atrial fibrillation and hypertension, and is currently taking rivaroxaban
A non-contrast CT is performed. What does it show?
@toddfraser well there is blood where there shouldn’t be. The distribution is interesting and one image is suggestive of a source. ( at least I think I’m seeing that) Given no focal signs he likely needs both an urgent neurosurgical opinion and further imaging. Btw thx for this.
