@PaulStewartII I just spoke with Canadian Press about the paediatric health crisis and explained to the journalist that by speaking with her about the importance of being proactive to help children and other vulnerable populations, tomorrow I’ll be attacked yet again by True North and Rebel News and their followers and receive antisemitic, misogynist hate mail. So when media speaks to us, we are put at risk. We are faced with a #HateCrisis not just the #HealthCrisis
@nilikm yes. It’s maddening and dangerous. Musk with Twitter emboldening extremists too. We need real media to do their job; it’s hard as they’re owned by American hedge fund close to Trump et al (Post Media), British and Canadian oligarch families like Thomson (Globe & Mail) Bitove (Toronto Star, which used to be good) and Shaw and Rogers (various). They own CPC too. These forces are also promoting weapons of war in our civil society. So even more dangerous. Stay safe. #cdnpoli
@nilikm Unfortunately, it's not incompetence but true malevolence. The entire hospital system is being made to collapse so we will embrace for-profit health care. Nothing makes for obedient employees like dependence on employer health insurance. If it weren't for that model, no one would be left at Twitter.
