1/ This whole weekend, I'll be sharing reasons why believe in .

are one of the single greatest public health inventions in history.

We don't just believe in them--we practice what we preach & vaccinate ourselves and our families!

2/
I spoke with a parent who was hesitant to vaccinate her infant for

We explored her concerns & I debunked some common myths about vaccines in general & esp

Ask your MD for accurate info if you've heard scary things

My own colleagues tried to get their children in the vaccine trials just to get protection early

Our interpreter said she'd get her kids boosted for ASAP after our talk

More here: healthcentral.com/condition/co

3/ my friend and colleague (and her kids!) took a break from their break to tell us why they as a family

vaccinating within a family protects other family members who might be too young to get or whose immune systems are compromised, creating walls of protection to prevent spread of communicable diseases

4/ infants who are at least six months old are eligible for the & vaccines

research shows that kids who are vaccinated against flu & Covid-19 are much less likely to get sick enough to be hospitalized or die, even if they get infected.

Protecting our youngest & our oldest, both of whom are very vulnerable to the above, is part of being a good citizen of humanity

The benefits of vaccination hit home when you have a new baby to protect

5/ don't just protect kids (even though they do a great job of that, no matter how many kids you're around!)

Vaccines protect whole communities including teachers, healthcare workers, relatives and any other adults who are regularly in contact with kids.

Vaccines make good sense to protect society and have fewer side effects than antibiotics and many other medications used to treat infectious diseases

pediatricians vaccinate to protect everyone

6/ have been around for long time and their record of safety and effectiveness is proven.

Every scary myth promoted by the anti-vaccine community has been disproven with solid research over decades.

Vaccines are so successful that a generation of doctors hasn't even seen some of the diseases they protect against

If you have questions, ask your MD to explain why we recommend each on time using an evidence-based schedule

This MD's 6 kids are all vaccinated
