@Mary625@mstdn.social @msquebanh we have been looking for a place to move for a few years now, and we were seriously considering Canada. Then we started paying more attention to the politics and national news up there, and saw the creeping trumpism/fascism problem showing that it had roots there, too. This made us think twice about uprooting everyone and possibly winding up... with a similar problem AFTER moving.
