Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean that people aren't fighting back.
As an example, there are rallies against this with tens of thousands of people attending, I have seen nothing about those in the major papers only in local news even though that is the sort of thing that should at least have a short article in the NY Times.

I also lay blame on the non-voters and people who thought useless protest voting against an insufficiently-wonderful Dem candidate when this was the other choice. Look at Baby RFK and tell me that would be an improvement on Kamala. I dare you…
I lay the blame on the Dem party who had every opportunity to learn that the messaging of "vote for us, we won't make things worse" doesn't work but didn't change it and actively fought against people who tried to change it (harder than they fought against Republicans)

@gbargoud @su_liam @aapis @luckytran Those of us who voted against this and have been -- FOR TEN YEARS NOW -- desperately warning and protesting against exactly what's happening now...we are all hostages named Cassandra. It is unfair to blame us for having no functional leadership to unify us into the unassailably powerful movement that's so direly needed. And it is mightily unjust to blame us for what our billionaire oppressors have intentionally and insidiously manipulated this country into.

The fascists you like(d?) implemented the policies that lead to the current state. So congrats, i guess. You can cry about it or you can act, but you no longer qualify for sympathy.

You have the rights, but they want to kill you for expressing those rights because it conflicts with their fascist mindset.
But, if you join their cult, they *may* let you survive.

@luckytran but project 2025 says business opportunities are a fundamental human right and not, y'know, the right to not die because you can't get healthcare, and they are the arbiter of all truth!
There are alternatives that they cannot truly remove, and I don't think they'll like the general realization of that.
