This is the consequence of starting a war, and making no civilian preparations. Indeed, in WW1/2 the allied expressly targeted the civilian population through blockades/bombing.
Given Palestinians/Hamas want to eradicate Israel, how would you suggest Israel bargains with them? Israel agrees to its "deletion" as a country?

@Moderation4win @luckytran Speaking as a German, in WWII, the only side expressly and intentionally targeting children in addition to adults was…us. And I thought we all agreed that we were the ultimate horrifying example NOT to follow, never again. It is therefore mind-boggling to see Israelis, of all people, doing to others what we did to so many of their relatives.
The bombing of Dresden did not distinguish between civilians, nor Toyko, Hiroshima etc. This is bizarre historical revision.
Nor did the UK provide Germany with foodaid - it employed a blockade in both wars

@spongefile @luckytran Israel is obviously not going out of its way to kill children. If it wanted to, it could have wiped out all of Gaza in a few days. It's taking more steps to avoid civilians than US did v Japan. Based on historical precedent, the IDF is arguably the most moral army in history.
The point is Hamas is making arousing western sympathy - i.e., people like you -as part of their strategy, and deliberately using their population as human shields while hiding like cockcroaches.
