I interrupted a Very Important Nap, but got photographic evidence of a Very Cute Yawn-And-Stretch. So I’m going to go ahead and say it was worth it.

Monkey, a large siamese cat, is taking a nice little nap in a multicolored papasan chair. He is on his back with belly exposed (you can probably get approximately 4 tummy pets in before you are chomped, you should definitely go for it). All four little paws are curled up in the air.
I have disturbed his slumber! Both front paws are stretched forward towards the camera. They are so close that they are out of focus.
Big kitty yawn! The paws are still stretched! It is extremely cute!
The yawn is over now, but Monkey’s front legs are still outstretched. But now his eyes are all blinky with sleep.
