Oh no, I’m feeling spicy today. What’s the cutesy saying? “I’ve got no spoons left, only knives.” Something like that. It’s been A Week and it’s only Wednesday. But man oh man, do I feel like saying some things.

Here are some kitty photos to make up for the grump. It’s raining in SoCal (still), so he’s extra snuggly.

A closeup on Monkey, a large siamese cat, looking directly at the camera. He is lounging on a soft, light blue blanket, which is on Kathleen’s outstretched legs. Her pale white hand is giving him chest and neck scritches.
The scene is identical to the previous photo, but now Monkey has closed his eyes and turned his head to the side to really lean into those scritches.
Again, the scene has not changed, but Monkey’s head is tilted a little bit more and his ears have rotated back just a little bit to demonstrate that he is having a lovely time. What the picture doesn’t show is the sheer amount of body weight he is propelling forward to rest on Kathleen’s hand. It should also be noted that by now, he is purring like a lawn mower.
