Opinion sections have been causing much harm by both-siding the pandemic. The piece on the right is factually incorrect and written by someone with a history of science-denial. It should have never been published. But many have already read the headline and bought into the lies.
Karla Soares-Weiser, Editor-in-Chief of the Cochrane Library, has issued a statement concerning the interpretation of the Cochrane group's recent study. It starts: "Many commentators have claimed that a recently-updated Cochrane Review shows that 'masks don't work', which is an inaccurate and misleading interpretation."
