@chfloudas how intersting. The #immune system ability to modulate responses never ceases to amaze. Though perhaps shouldn't be so surprised given the number of possible combinations of cytokine signalling!
@gpollara @chfloudas yes, and the TGF-beta pathway has so many different context-dependent effects that make it a perilous drug target
@chfloudas yes good point. Then again the same could have been said about IL-6 and it did well in Covid-19!
