@cbarbermd I find it interesting that SARS-CoV-2 caught us mostly with our pants down. And it treated us like a big wave in a surfing wipe out.
This H5N1 virus has been in the radar for some time. We have been able to more or less have good surveillance. Indeed, we now that variants, such as D.1.1 pose a widespread epidemic.
@cbarbermd THE DIFFERENCE? What country should be one of the stalwarts on maintaining public health is now ACTIVELY taking their "pants down" seemingly to see how much hurt it can cause.
So, will this become a really big wave and drag us on the sand under the sea?
