Who should be @VP Harris’ running mate?! #bidenharris2024
@cbarbermd either Josh Shapiro or Mark Kelly. Her running mate must be able to help deliver one of the key swing States, offer reach to moderate voters and be a really strong advocate on the stump and in the media for the Democratic ticket.
Got a nickel riding on it will be Kelly, AZ. My friend says Shapiro, PA. Some really good options with a variety of individual strengths they'd bring. That's a good thing.
@CoastalCoasting @cbarbermd Shapiro is a really strong speaker and charismatic BUT Kelly has this incredible life story (decorated vet, astronaut) + Gabby Giffords factor. Also Kelly could help Harris with the immigration issue.
Agreed, heartily. Perhaps Kelly will resonate with the independents and even a sliver of boomers + silent gen, maga's and evangelicals too. Very likely it will a candidate from a swing state too. A nickel I may very well lose, for lots of people could make a better informed choice than I.
