Is this for real? @DrPaulOffit ,who serves on the FDA's expert panel, said to @NPR here that, "The general public should not expect to need to receive the latest COVID booster." Covid worldwide & each infection offers up a new opportunity to spin the long Covid roulette wheel. BUT, despite all the expert/CDC/media hype, the new boosters are not for the "general public"?? DOES THE GENERAL PUBLIC KNOW THIS?
In other words, the new booster data must show little to zero benefit for those who are not high risk bc, if it showed otherwise, they'd be advocating for it. So, if I understand this correctly, it's been about 11 mos(?) since the last booster and we still don't. 2/3
