@auscandoc Do we know which groups are the least likely to vaccinate? Is it the anti-government Right? The granola Left? Certain religious groups? The population in general?

Interesting. It would be nice to see it from the inverse perspective though: what percentage of CPC/LPC/NDP/BQ voters didn't get vaccinated against #covid19?

Would measles and covid-19 vaccine hesitancy be closely correlated? Some people said they had concerns about the mRNA aspect of the latter, though perhaps they were just looking for excuses.

Yes.. Mennonite communities. But they are also quite variable. Some do some don’t. Depends almost entirely on the whim of the head man. Yes really. Can have polar opposites side by side.

Yes.. COVID vaccine hesitancy bleeding into other vaccines.

Alberta: last in, first out

Bar graph showing measles cases in Alberta from 1920 through today. The left side (1920-1980) shows lots of years with very high peaks, some as high as 10,000 or more cases. On the right side (1980-2024) there are a few early blips, but for the most part absolutely nothing. Then, after a 20 year absence, 2025 shows case levels typical of the pre-vaccination era: 868 to date on track to be a ‘quiet’ year from the 40s or 50s
