I guess I'm done for fun (except for a 3-ply, haven't done that yet). Instead, I probably need to pick a pattern and then spin yarn for the pattern.

I've been wanting to a kitty couch for a long time. The pattern calls for 364 yards of one color and 236 yards of another.

The average length of my yarns is 75 yards. 🥴😳

Whatever color I make the couch out of, I'm going to need to spin MANY bobbins worth...

I've been working on this sample (20 yards) for the . This is 50% Blue-Faced Leicester/50% .

I'm going for a tweedy look for the couch upholstery!

I'm done one hank! Yay! 🥳 It's 180 yards! My longest yet! 😁 I'm very proud of myself, as you can see... I feel like it's a little underplyed in some places, but whatever.

Now to wet set it and even up the rest of the single-ply before I start plying again. Need 364 yards total!

Here it is in all its 5 ounces of glory! 😄 There is still more single ply left on the bobbins, so I think I can make another similar sized hank.

Wet finishing will change it probably quite a bit. But if you still think it's underplied after that, you could run out through the wheel again and add a little twist. This will only take a little time, but can improve the final yarn so much.
