Iran said its missile attack on Al Udeid air base in Qatar matched the number of bombs dropped by the United States on Iranian nuclear sites this weekend, signaling Iran’s likely desire to deescalate, AP reports.

• A large number of conscript soldiers, prison staff, several inmates, and some non-military individuals who visited the Evin court have been killed.
• The entrance to Ward 4 of Evin Prison, the clinic of Ward 4, the visitor's hall, and the security wards 209, 240, 241, and 2A as well as the Evin and Kachui security courts have been attacked and seriously damaged. The women's ward of Evin Prison has also been damaged.
• Political and non-political prisoners of Evin are being transferred from Evin. So far all prisoners of Ward 4 of Evin have been completely transferred to Greater Tehran Central Penitentiary.

• The Coordinating Council of Iranian Teachers' Trade Associations, while condemning Israel's attack on civilian compatriots, especially today's attack on Evin Prison, calls for an end to the war and attacks on civilians.

Today, Monday, June 23, 2025, Evin Prison was targeted by an airstrike. As a result of the impact from fighter jets attributed to Israel, parts of the administrative buildings, medical facilities, and the judicial office of the prison were severely damaged and destroyed.

Following this attack, a section of Ward 4 collapsed, windows and glass were shattered, and the interior space of the prison was destabilized. Simultaneously, many prisoners, in fear and seeking to save their lives, took refuge on lower floors, which resulted in injuries to several of them.

The prison's medical facilities have been effectively destroyed, and there are no initial resources available to address the condition of the injured inmates. Despite the deteriorating condition of some of the wounded, prison authorities have refused to transfer them to medical centers outside the prison, effectively leaving them without any care.

Meanwhile, instead of providing aid, security forces and prison guards have heavily secured the prison by deploying extensively in the wards, creating a highly secure environment. Threats, intimidation, and pressure on prisoners have increased, and we are facing double repression.

If you're confused as to whether there is a ceasefire between Israel and Iran now as Trump claimed, then don't worry it seems everyone is confused.
It seems to me there was no agreement, but Trump says there is one with unclear terms, so some regime officials on both sides of the war claim they're following those terms as of the would-be-deadline regardless of not having actually agreed, while others seem to be continuing as previously.

@LightFIAR Hmm, I think Trump wanted to come out of this with a diplomatic achievement, to be able to make claims of having achieved peace through ordering USA to bomb Iran, to further the ridiculous claims that "I should have gotten the Nobel Peace Prize five times", as well as to get the anti-war GOPers you mention to get back under control.
But who knows what that clown wants.
