Well, since there are so many new people here, maybe it’s time for a re-#introduction.
I’m a pediatric gastroenterologist in 
with clinical interests in #intestinalfailure #CF and #nutrition. I’m also a program director and into all things #MedEd, especially #FOAMed. I co-host the @bowelsounds podcast and do social media for JPGN (not yet on Mastodon).

If you haven’t already, I would suggest reviewing with your son’s primary care doc and see if together you think a consult by a gastroenterologist could be helpful. Hoping you find the help he needs!
@DrJSilverman @bowelsounds thank you. Understandable. He does see a gastroenterologist and all other causes have been ruled out. Treating symptomatically, which GI Doc says would be the same whether idiopathic or LC. Have a great day!
