Thanks for the welcome. I love Burin, hope your family enjoy it. I interact with the hospital (ER and ICU) fairly frequently for air medevacs.

@vasculopath You have to experience / feel anything at least once My pet fear is having surgery and waking during the procedure, paralyzed, and not able to object or do squat about it except put my heart rate up. I figure the next deconditioning step is to intubate myself, hook myself up to a vent, push my own sux, and get the RN to hurt me, but I'd probably lose my license...
@DrEvanderLinde well, once in residency I started an IV on myself for fluids. After seeing some silly med TV show imply that it was good for hangovers. I think I'll draw the line there;)
