Discussing #flozination in cats over at the birdie app. Apparently a SGLT2 inhibitor was approved for the management of #diabetes in our #feline friends. Considering that kidney disease (with or without diabetes) and heart failure is common in cats and #dogs, this could be a game changer for veterinarians, animals and their owners alike. Do we need a RCT, or can we just translate evidence from humans?
